Good morning goldfish

Our toddler often finds a way in our bed at some part of the morning, curled up in our warmth, slightly in the way, but so cute and cuddly that we don’t tend to mind him interrupting our “private time” (I got that from Little Bill).

Anyway, it’s one thing to have the kids curled up between us, it’s another to have the kids’ stale leftovers getting in the way. I’m not a fan of crumbs in the bed. Yet, I woke up the other morning to a goldfish snack cracker quietly swimming in our white sheets. The tiny golden fish looked lost, out of place, swimming for dear life amidst the thick cottony waves.

I’ll give you one guess on how it got there.
